This is very professional & wonderful medical facility. If you are trying to play games, and not really serious about why your there, don't even bother going. This is a very serious facility. But if your honestly sick or need professional care, this is the best one you can find. Listen to what they tell you to do & be straight up with them, and they will do all they can to help you. Each and every one that works there are courteous, kind and professional.

Dr Hodgkiss is a very caring Doctor. I looked for a while for the type of work I would need for my back. I had been using another Dr for 3 years back…3 years ago for pain management and all his work just got my back more inflamed. After reading all the things that Dr. Hodgkiss can do I was so I’m pressed. My first visit I was expecting it to be painful but he was very gentle. I went back today for more work and again very gently and kind. Would for sure tell others to go to see him with your back problems. Plus he can help you with so many other things too. ❤️

The staff are great and easy to work with. Dr. Hodgkiss was easy going. He kept me in formed before each move of the procedure.

I never have to wait long. Entire staff is very pleasant. DR. Hodgkiss is so gentle and easy during procedures. I have had more pain relief since becoming a patient than at two other pain management clinics.

I have the utmost respect for Ms.. Ashley Pennington, Dr. Hodgkins, and Dr, Bromley. I have stenosis of my back, which started presenting itself 24 years ago in Southern Ca. An avid golfer, I was horrified that my life would change drastically without golf. Dr. Anderson, of Santa Barbara himself a golfer, told me I HAD to listen to exactly as his team said. Unbeknown to me he set my left hip which aligned my left foot for a perfect address over the ball. Ca., with its low humidity and hot dry weather helped with the stenosis extremely well whereby soon I was playin 18 holes for 344 straight days. ( No Rain outs). However, my back kept getting worse and we moved to Memphis to be with our granddaughter. Memphis's weather was terrible for my situation and the other pain clinic I went to....were just a pill mill. With Southern Pain, they have medicated me enough so that I can still play golf, but I have also had two epidurals which really made a difference while they lasted. My last MRI showed problems with L2,3,4. I am a candidate for the MILD back treatment and awaiting my turn. In the meantime, I am on pain medication plus lidocaine gel. Ms. Ashley actually listens to your concerns, and then initiates a plan to alleviate as much pain as she/the clinic could. I'm not in Ca...but Memphis was home for many years of my life, and I get to see my precious granddaughter With Southern Pain, I get to have a chance at a great life. I have many rounds of golf left.

The entire staff is friendly and professional. They take time to discuss your individual health problems and offer additional recommendations that they feel might help in addition to your current treatment. When Kim Norwood walks into the patient room, she lets you know that time is yours and your free to discuss any related issues with your condition. She also takes the time to have a quick joke and a laugh. I highly recommend Southern Pain. My condition has required me to have monthly Dr. visits for the past 16 years. They take time to listen and make you feel you're more than just a number.

Beth Riddle took over my chart, two months ago after Colton left us. She is sweet, quick and efficient. I am only sad that the office itself will not be taking my new insurance of UnitedHealthcare so I will have to change clinics. Goodbye to one of the best pain clinics I have been to in my 20 years of having to go to one. Their doctor. Hodgkiss is the only doctor that has actually helped me in his procedure. Where is all of the others have been painful , and have not helped at all

Dr. Thomas Hodgkiss is so good with shoulder injections, that when he injected my shoulder he said something and I thought he was fixing to stick me, but he was telling me that I was good to go. I give him a 10 on that one. I never felt a needle.

Ms. Ashley has always treated me with a genuine concern for my health. That truly means a lot especially when you suffer with pain from the extensive medical history I have. I understand she is one busy lady but we can even get a chance to speak outside of all my medical issues. That makes me feel like I’m part of a caring family even when I experience difficulties mandates SPR has to follow. Thank you Ashley for the positive support you give me when working through my plan of care.

The procedure went well but when got home later that evening I had the exact same pain for about 10 minutes or so getting dressed for bed ! Was like 5 inches down from where he done the needle so idk ,? So far nothing today but I've been sleeping in and out till now !

Ms. Kim Norwood is an excellent & professional health provider. Because I suffer from chronic back pain due to chronic illnesses, I’m constantly seeking solutions to to relieve or ease my pain. Ms. Kim takes time to listen to my concerns & input & makes professional recommendations based on my input & professional testing. I’ve been able to get relief for my lower back (not total but enough that it is manageable). This clinic recommends several different options, treatments & methods for pain relief. Having this approach usually helps a patient find a suitable answer to their needs. I’m very thankful there is a clinic of this caliber in close proximity to my home.

Dr Ashley is professional old time down to earth doctor .that ask about your hurt and pain and prescribe what you need to stop the hurt and Pain so the defects that you have and your body that you can be able to relax until your next pain come around you be described the medication that you need to help. Dr. Hodgkiss really cares, takes his time, checking on you through the procedure. He doesn't rush through and tells you what he is doing or what you feel. He has a gentle touch and you can tell he is interested in helping you.

I love your entire staff. What has happened to me is from higher up. I have lifetime medical from an injury from 1992. I was referred to Pain Management by Vanderbilt Clinic. I was one of the 1st patients here. Now you are NOT gonna take my insurance!! Which leaves me struggling to find a new Doctor/ Clinic. I am a sure thing!!! I have LIFETIME INSURANCE COVERAGE for this injury. I really wish you would reconsider your decision. Unfair treatment very unfair!

I am very upset. I learned this morning they are going to stop taking workman's comp patients. I have been coming here since this clinic opened. I have life time medical that means forever. The rest of my life. Now I have to find a new Doctor a new clinic and travel God knows where to be seen. I feel this is very unfair. I understand not taking any new patients but for the ones that have been here since day one? It is NOT fair. I have insurance but I shouldn't have to pay for an injury that is covered, for the rest of my life.

I never have to wait for a long period of time. They are always ready to go when they come into the room to converse with each other. Dr. Hodgkiss is another good one. He is very knowledgeable in what he's called to do. As far as all of employees that work there they are all super!!!

Ms Riddle listens and cares about my pain issues. I am 63 years old and it helps having someone believe me and knows my pain is genuine. Oh and Tara, her nurse is so sweet and listens as well. I can talk to both these ladies about even other health issues.

No long waits and she is extremely friendly. She does not sugar coat your problem and the expectations of pain relief.

Beth Riddle is a Great practitioner. I have been seeing her for over 10 yrs. She was a regular practitioner before she became one for pain management. If you are in her hands, you have Nothing to worry about. The women at the front desk could have some friendliness lessons. You are there because you are in pain & I have stood in front of one of the windows for several minutes before they even let me know they new that I was there. I never had said any thing before but after several yrs. I decided to today. But I do Love Beth. You can not go wrong with her. But the women at the desk need to realize that we are standing in front of them in PAIN

Wasn't in the doctor's appointment 15 minutes. It took longer to do the paperwork. Mrs. Riddle was nice and professional.

Doctor Colton, is one of very few doctors that I would ever think I would run across but greatly appreciate that I did, he met all the factors of what I look forward to in a doctor when dealing with patients. 1. HE GREETED ME, WHEN ENTERING MY ROOM. 2. HE ASK ME HOW I WAS DOING AS AN INDIVIDUAL & WHAT MY PROBLEMS WERE. 3. HE TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN COMPLETELY TO ALL MY CHIEF COMPLAINTS, WHICH UNFORTUNATELY ARE QUITE A FEW. 4. HE ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT PREVIOUS TREATMENTS & PROCEDURES, TO RULE SOME THINGS OUT, & THE POSSIBILITIES OF TRYING NEW OR RE TRYING OLD TECHNIQUES. 5. HE UNDERSTOOD HE HAD OTHER PATIENTS BUT TREATED ME AS A FIRST PRIORITY WHILE IN THE ROOM WITH ME BY MAKING SURE I DID NIT FEEL RUSHED & THAT WE COVERED EVERYTHING. 6. HE ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS & GAVE ME COMFORT IN KNOWING HE WANTED TO TRULY HELP ME, HOWEVER HE COULD, BY SENDING OUT REFERRALS & REQUEST ON PRESCRIPTIONS.. 7. Somewhat lack of communication before procedure. Also, I was asked if another doctor could be present. I said yes, but as the conversation continued, the extra doctors were there to discuss business opportunities instead of observation. Not happy. The procedure is working though. I am a hard stick for àny nurse, but 3 tries should be the limit.

I would if you're not going to lie to people & them that you don't take their insurance when you really do. You take their insurance and they pay their bills. But you don't submit the claim to the actual insurance company and you blame everything on insurance.

The visit with her was a pleasant one she went over my current medication and duration . I still think my long term care can be adjusted for a better tolerance of my pain level as it still for me is a bit uncomfortable but I do have expectations of my pain management goals being met. I believe together we will reach it.
